I'm a Cheap Date (who says that's a bad thing!)

My wonderful wonderful Charles made an excellent discovery the other day: $5 Movie Tickets!
(I had to make that big and bold because in this day and age, that's just unheard of). This means I no longer have to try to pass my 4 year old off as "under 2" so that he can get in for free... just kidding.

Every Tuesday night, at the UA Emery Bay Stadium 10, Emeryville CA, movie tickets are only $5, all day, for everyone! Even with the $4 bridge toll it's worth it.

As an added bonus, if you join the Regal Crown Club (membership is free) you get points when you visit UA Emery Bay or any other Regal theater. True, they are not as popular or widely distributed as the century theaters, but there are plenty of locations to chose from. Every $1 = 1 point and with 150 points you get a free movie ticket (you can also trade in lower point values for things like popcorn). Concession purchases also count for points, but watch out, you can only earn a max of 20 points per day. Other membership perks include, $2 Candy on Mondays and $2 SMALL Popcorn on Tuesdays!

Doing the math... Charles, Zak and I can all see a movie AND get a small popcorn for $17! That's unbeatable!

Not to mention the Emery Bay Public Market is right across the street from the UA Emery Bay theater, but that's a whole other story...
